5-Year Comprehensive Warranty:

Somfy motors are warranted for 5 years against manufacturing defects in hardware, materials, and parts by Somfy Singapore. This includes:

• All Standard mechanical AC tubular motors and Electronic AC/DC tubular motors.
• All internal mechanisms.
• Components and brackets.
• Motorised components.

1-Year Warranty on Control Systems:

In addition to the motors, Somfy Singapore provide a 1-year warranty for the control system of the Somfy motors. This covers:

• Emitter.
• Receiver.
• Sensor.
• Lithium battery.

The warranty period begins from the date the installation is completed on-site.

Service and Support

• Onsite servicing is covered for the first year. After this period, charges will apply for transportation, delivery, scaffolding, and labor.
• A fee may apply if a claimed motor is found to be compliant with specifications or not due to a manufacturing defect

Repairs and Replacements

• Onsite servicing is covered for the first year. After this, charges apply for transportation, delivery, scaffolding, and labor.
• In case of necessary repairs or replacements, we will use parts or products that are similar in quality and functionality.
• Harmony Furnishing reserves the right to replace defective parts with new or refurbished ones. Any replaced parts will be retained by us.

Warranty Conditions

1. 1This warranty is valid only for products purchased from Harmony Furnishing Pte Ltd.
2. A proof of purchase is required for warranty validation.
3. The warranty is applicable only when products are fully paid for.
4. Our team must be granted access to the defective products for inspection and repair.
5. We may involve the manufacturer’s representatives for an assessment in some cases.

Limitations of Warranty

• This warranty does not cover
  • Removal or disposal of any system
  • Software or firmware updates
  • Fabrics
• Exclusions include defects or damages from:
  • Normal wear and tear like dust accumulation and increase in noise during usage.
  • Usage beyond normal, proper, and reasonable manners.
  • Unauthorized disassembly, repair, alteration, or modification.
  • Misuse, abuse, negligence, or accidents.
  • Improper testing, operation, maintenance, installation, or modification.
  • Incorrect electrical supply or wiring issues, and any direct or indirect consequential loss or damage.
  • Warranty is voided if products are taken out of Singapore.
  • Force majeure events (e.g., lightning, floods, war).

Recycling Commitment

We are committed to environmental responsibility. Part of our service includes ensuring that replaceable parts are recycled wherever possible, to minimize waste and support sustainable practices.

Liability

Harmony Furnishing is not liable for incidental, consequential, indirect damages, losses, costs, or expenses related to the product.
